Goal
The Mountain Grove Care Ministry exists to provide personal support and guidance to help hurting individuals, couples, or families with unresolved emotional and spiritual issues and problems find healing, wholeness and victorious living.
Plan
The Mountain Grove Care Ministry provides certified Christian Care Givers who offer sensitive, compassionate Christian guidance that will work toward healing and wholeness in your life. Pastoral Counseling provides a confidential setting in which individuals, couples and/or families can openly express feelings, discuss problems and issues and work toward solutions by God’s grace and wisdom. In addition to relational and pastoral guidance, we have passionate lay-counselors who can help address specific needs such as substance abuse/addictions; relational/sexual issues; grief and divorce issues.
Cost
The Care/Counseling Ministry is a ministry of Mountain Grove Church. No fees are charged. While the church provides support for this ministry, we encourage non-member clients to participate in the support of this ministry both through prayer as well as by making a contribution to the church, which is completely at their discretion.

Sobriety & Spirituality is a support group led by Jim Goble. This support group takes substance and alcohol abused individuals from their sobriety and helps them grow spiritually. The support group meets (only upon request) on Tuesday Nights at 7:00 P.M. in Room B-12 in the Old Building. Please contact Jim Goble or complete the contact sheet above for further information. (Note: individual counseling is also available! If interested, fill in the contact form and Dr. Hodges will arrange the opportunity with our qualified substance abuse counselors)
GriefShare: Your Journey From Mourning to Joy is a video seminar series featuring some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on grief and recovery topics. This series is available upon demand. Please use the contact form to inquire about availability.
